Raised in Colombia, fourteen years ago a job opportunity brought me to the United States to work at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
Trained as an Economist and a Journalist, my work portfolio at the IDB now includes a dozen of research papers, books, and blog posts. Also, it includes more than a hundred presentations and countless databases on competitiveness, fiscal reform, labor policy, and macroeconomics.
I firmly believe that if one wants to make a change in public policy and ultimately improve people’s lives one has to be able to communicate clearly to decision-makers what works and what doesn’t work in economic and social development. That’s my mission and my passion in life. I hope I can put my skills at the service of those who want to make a difference in this world!
